'Don’t enter my room with sorrow', Redman’s sign moved Obama

Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Jason Redman wrote a defiant sign on his door. It warned visitors feeling pity to “go elsewhere", declaring his recovery room one of “fun, optimism, and intense rapid regrowth". Former First Lady Michelle Obama later wrote about it twice in her book and sent Redman a handwritten note.
