'Dragon-Elephant Tango', says Chinese state media on Xi attending BRICS

Ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to India for BRICS summit, Chinese media described China-India relations as a “Dragon-elephant Tango”. One headline said “the world needs BRICS to be the Adult in the room”, while another advocated Global South cooperation. Xi last visited India in 2019 for an informal summit with PM Narendra Modi.
