'Eetha' director backtracks, says Shraddha-starrer doesn't honour Lavani dancer Vithabai

Months after promoting Shraddha Kapoor-starrer 'Eetha' as a biopic of renowned Lavani dancer Vithabai Narayangaonkar, director Laxman Utekar said the film "doesn't honour Vithabai". Instead, it draws inspiration from certain incidents mentioned in a book based on her life, he clarified. Earlier, a row had erupted after Vithabai's children asked makers to change the title in her honour.
