Expelled AIADMK leader & former CM Panneerselvam joins DMK in Tamil Nadu

Ex-Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam, who was expelled from AIADMK, joined DMK in presence of Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Friday. This comes ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. The DMK may offer him the Bodinayakkanur seat in Theni, which he won in the 2021 Assembly elections. He was close aide of late AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa.
