'Father of the Internet' Vint Cerf to retire from Google next week

Vint Cerf, widely regarded as one of the fathers of the internet, will retire as Google's Chief Internet Evangelist next week after over 20 years at the company. The 83-year-old made the announcement while speaking at the Open Frontier conference. Notably, Cerf co-designed the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of internet.
