Flash flood predicted in 16 districts as cyclone Dana hits Odisha

The IMD issued a flash flood alert for 16 districts in Odisha as Cyclone Dana made landfall on Friday. Angul, Balasore, Boudh, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, and Puri are at risk of flash floods within 24 hours, IMD stated. Meanwhile, CM Mohan Charan Majhi assured that government is fully prepared to address any challenges.
