'Free travel for senior citizens from June 15' claim is false

Several dubious websites, posing as digital news aggregators, have recently published an article claiming that the Union Government of India is set to roll out a nationwide free travel scheme for senior citizens starting June 15, 2025. BOOM reached out to Central Railway and an Air India spokesperson who confirmed that the viral message is fake.
