'Ghost' crime platform busted in global operation, 51 arrested

Europol and Eurojust, together with law enforcement and judicial authorities from around the world successfully dismantled an encrypted criminal communication platform named 'Ghost'. It was being used as a tool to carry out criminal activities including drug trafficking, money laundering, extreme violence and other organised crime. Over the course of investigation, 51 suspects were arrested.
