'He is alive,' claims wife of Indian sailor believed to be killed in Iran war

The wife of Merchant Navy Captain Ashish Kumar, who is believed to have died in the Gulf of Oman in the initial days of the Iran war, has approached the Supreme Court claiming that he is alive and has been illegally held captive. She claimed she received a call from an international number demanding a ₹20 lakh ransom.
