Roger Sweet, who created the He-Man character in the "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" 1980s animated kids' show, passed away aged 91 on Tuesday after a battle with dementia, TMZ reported. His wife, Marlene, confirmed the news of his death to TMZ. He was the lead designer for Mattel’s Preliminary Design Department in the 70s and 80s.
