'Hidden treasure under homes' promise used to cheat 11 people of ₹1 crore in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Police arrested four men for allegedly cheating 11 people of nearly ₹1 crore by promising hidden treasure beneath their homes. Police said the accused secretly buried sacks containing coal and fake gold-coated coins before staging excavations. They then claimed the coal would turn into gold through a special process and collected money from victims before fleeing with the cash.
