How does the govt earn its every rupee and where does it spend it?

Of every rupee that the government makes, 24 paise comes from borrowing and other liabilities, while 21 paise comes from income tax. Another 18 paise comes from corporation tax, and 15 paise comes from GST and other taxes. The government spends 22 paise of every rupee on states' share of taxes and 20 paise on interest payments.
