'I could never have become CEO in India,' says Indra Nooyi, sparks debate

Ex-PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi said an immigrant like her could become a CEO only in America. "I could never have become CEO in any other country in the world, including in India..It's because the system in America is a meritocratic system," said Nooyi. Her remarks have sparked a debate with people questioning if she thinks Indian CEOs don't have merit.
