Travel search firm ixigo has acquired Square Hoot Hikes, the parent company of intercity cabs aggregator, Rutogo for an undisclosed sum. As per the deal, Rutogo's team will join ixigo to strengthen the app. The company will be launching outstation taxis in the coming weeks, and will also be opening up the cabs marketplace besides partnering with other booking apps.
