'L2: Empuraan’ movie producers make 24 cuts after row over Gujarat riots references

The producers of Malayalam movie 'L2: Empuraan', which sparked a controversy for references to the 2002 Gujarat riots, have made 24 cuts to the film. These changes include changing the name of the main antagonist from Baba Bajrangi to Baldev, Hindustan Times reported. The re-edited version will be released on Wednesday to replace the earlier version released on March 27.
