'Laapataa Ladies' chosen as India's official entry for Oscars 2025

The Film Federation of India announced on Monday that 'Laapataa Ladies' has been chosen as India's official entry for Oscars 2025. The movie, directed by Kiran Rao, was selected from among 29 movies, including Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal' and 'Aattam', the Malayalam movie which won three National Awards. 'Laapataa Ladies' featured Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta and Sparsh Shrivastava.
