'Marriage now tough as girls want to be independent,' says composer Thaman S, criticised

Music composer Thaman S, known for 'Baby John' and 'Daaku Maharaaj', said he wouldn't suggest anyone to get married because it has become "difficult" to sustain it. "It's become tough because the girls...want to be independent in life. They don't want to be under anyone," he added. Thaman was criticised online, with one saying, "You're no different from a misogynist."
