'Miracle lion cubs' Simba & Soori make public debut at Kerala zoo

Simba and Soori, the seven-month-old "miracle lion cubs" at the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, made their public debut on Wednesday. Abandoned at birth and severely underweight, the duo beat the odds through months of medical care, round-the-clock monitoring and specialised milk diets provided by dedicated zoo staff. They are the only fully hand-fed lion cubs born at the zoo since 1989.
