‘Mirzapur The Movie’ crosses ₹150 crore mark, surpasses ‘Awarapan 2’

Gurmmeet Singh's "Mirzapur: The Movie" earned ₹9 crore net in India on Friday, taking its domestic collection to ₹157.45 crore and surpassing "Awarapan 2", which earned ₹150.43 crore. The Pankaj Tripathi-starrer was released in theatres on September 4. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film continues the story of the "Mirzapur" web series, which began in 2018.
