The National Teachers Awards 2026 have been announced for 48 school teachers, including 26 males and 22 females. The list has teachers from 27 states, 7 union territories and 6 central government organisations, with UP having the most teachers (three). President Droupadi Murmu will confer the awards on September 5 in New Delhi, which will be telecast live on Doordarshan.
