'Nitish Kumar should be made Deputy PM,' says JD(U) amid Union Cabinet expansion buzz

Amid speculation over a possible expansion of the PM Narendra Modi-led Union Cabinet, JD(U) has renewed its demand that former Bihar CM Nitish Kumar be made India's Deputy Prime Minister. JD(U) MLA Pankaj Mishra said Nitish's long administrative experience makes him a suitable candidate for the country's second-highest executive post. "People of Bihar also support the idea," he added.
