'Our country is awash with money': Mukherjea on liquidity rise
Author Saurabh Mukherjea said on a podcast that in 2025, the RBI cut interest rates by 1.25% points and injected twice as much liquidity into the system as it did during COVID-19. India also raised around $25 billion through FCNR deposits, adding to liquidity, he said. "Our country is awash with money," he said, describing it as "a little excessive financing".
