'Peddi' becomes highest-grossing South Indian film of 2026

'Peddi', starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, has earned ₹366 crore worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2026. This comes despite mixed reviews, which criticised the film for sexualising Janhvi's character. After his previous films 'Acharya' and 'Game Changer' failed to perform, this marks Ram's first box office success after his commercially hit 2022 film 'RRR'.
