'Police Didis' on 2,700 bikes to make Bihar schools safer

Bihar government on Wednesday flagged off 2,700 scooters for the police's 'Abhaya Brigade', commonly known as Police Didis. The brigade is expected to strengthen patrolling around schools, colleges, and other areas frequented by women and girl students. The women police officers will be deployed in all districts of the state to promptly respond to women's complaints and facilitate rapid response.
