Reliance to boost LPG output, divert gas to priority sectors

Reliance Industries on Tuesday said its Jamnagar refinery will boost LPG production to ensure "uninterrupted access to essential fuels for Indian households". Adding that gas from the KG-D6 Basin will be diverted to priority sectors, it stated, "For Reliance, well-being of...Indian families always comes first." The move follows the Centre's directive to oil refineries to increase LPG production.
