'Ring of Fire' solar eclipse to take place on October 2

The Moon will appear smaller than the Sun during the solar eclipse on Wednesday (October 2nd), leaving a bright ring of sunlight around a dark centre. The phenomenon, known as 'Ring of Fire', will be visible for over six hours, reports said. It occurs when the Moon passes directly in front of the Sun. It won't be visible in India.
