'Samay hamara hai', PM Modi tells Indians on 80th Independence Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Indians "samay hamara hai" (the time is ours) while ending his address to the nation on the 80th Independence Day. PM recited a Hindi poem, stating, "Ek deep se jale deep hazaaron, aao ek viksit Bharat banayein." (Let thousands of lamps be lit from a single flame, and let us build a developed India).
