'Saree Goes Global' event organised at New York's Times Square

The third edition of the 'Saree Goes Global' event was organised by US-based philanthropic organisation Uma Global at Times Square in New York City on Sunday. Women and girls were seen flaunting embroidered, painted and embellished sarees as part of the event. The sarees ranged from traditional Assamese weaves and Lucknow's Chikankari to Banarasi silk and Kanjeevarams.
