'Sarke Chunar…' makers submit apology to NCW over 'vulgar' lyrics

During a hearing, Kannada filmmaker Prem and lyricist Raqueeb Alam submitted a written apology to the National Commission for Women (NCW) over 'Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke', which was criticised for its "vulgar" lyrics. Prem and Raqueeb are required to work towards women's empowerment over the next three months. They must then submit a report of their efforts to the Commission.
