'She was like my daughter,' says Principal of hospital where doctor was raped; resigns

Prof. (Dr.) Sandip Ghosh, the Principal of Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College & Hospital where a female doctor was raped and killed, has resigned amid a protest by doctors. "I am getting defamed on social media...The deceased doctor was like my daughter...I don't like that this should happen to anyone in future," he said. The accused has been arrested.
