Ross Ulbricht, who founded Silk Road, an underworld website that sold drugs and various other illegal commodities, has been sentenced to life in prison and a penalty of $184 million by a New York court. Ulbricht’s was an “unprecedented one-stop” website for buying drugs, accessible only on the dark web through various tunnelling softwares.
