An unrelated video from a March 2026 attack on an oil tanker off the coast of Oman is being falsely shared as footage of the recent U.S strike on the commercial vessel MT Settebello in the Gulf of Oman on June 10, 2026. BOOM found that the original video was posted by Reuters on March 1, 2026.
