'SRK never took a permit,' says Maha Minister defending Marathi mandate for auto drivers

Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik defended Marathi mandate for auto and taxi drivers. He said the rule aims to improve communication between drivers and passengers, not target livelihoods. When asked about critics who say the Marathi vs Hindi debate targets working-class people, he said, "Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan never took...licence from us...So there was nothing to enforce."
