'Tech utopia' startup to build ₹9,600-crore 'post-AGI' city in Uruguay

Crypto-backed startup Praxis has selected Uruguay to build a utopian, "pro-artificial general intelligence (AGI)" city with a $1 billion investment (around ₹9,600 crore) over three years. The city will feature private residences, a resort and spaces for art and music. Praxis, which describes itself as the "world's first digital nation", expects the first residents to move in by mid-2027.
