'Terrorists called each other Bhola & Shankar during IC-814 hijack,' said MEA in 2000

In 2000, the MEA said that two terrorists who hijacked the IC-814 flight used the aliases Bhola and Shankar while the other three used Chief, Doctor and Burger. Their real names were Shahid Akhtar Sayed, Shakir, Sunny Ahmed Qazi, Ibrahim Athar and Mistri Zahoor Ibrahim. A controversy broke out over using Bhola and Shankar names in the Netflix show IC814.
