'The Odyssey' used more than 2 million feet of IMAX film: Nolan
Filmmaker Christopher Nolan revealed that his latest film, 'The Odyssey', was shot with native IMAX 70mm cameras, utilizing over 2 million feet of Kodak 65mm motion picture film. IMAX built a brand-new camera called the 'Keighley' for the film, which has a sleek carbon-fiber housing, an integrated LCD screen, and is roughly 30% quieter than standard IMAX cameras.
