Yash-starrer Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, earned ₹96 crore net in India on its opening day despite negative reviews and criticism over its violent and intimate scenes. As per Sacnilk, the Hindi version led with ₹56 crore, while the Kannada version earned nearly ₹25 crore with 89% occupancy. The film missed Dhurandhar 2's ₹103-crore 2026 opening-day record.
