'Tu Meri...' faces ₹10-cr copyright lawsuit over 'Saat Samundar' song use

Trimurti Films Pvt Ltd, accused Dharma Productions, Namah Pictures, Saregama India and Badshah of copyright infringement for using the song 'Saat Samundar Paar' from the 1992 film 'Vishwatma' in 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri'. The ₹10-crore lawsuit seeks permanent injunction to restrain use of the song, including tune and lyrics, for exploitation or remix in the film.
