UPI sees 24,000 crore transactions worth ₹314 lakh crore in FY26

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) recorded growth in FY26, crossing 24,000 crore transactions, up 30% year-on-year, with a total transaction value of ₹314 lakh crore, according to NPCI data. The platform saw an average daily volume of 66 crore transactions. In March 2026, UPI hit a record monthly high of 2,264 crore transactions, processing ₹29.53 lakh crore in value.
