US man contracts three viruses from a single mosquito bite

Joe Casey, 54, of Kensington, New Hampshire, is in ICU after contracting three mosquito-borne viruses, Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE), St. Louis encephalitis, and West Nile virus from a single mosquito bite. The viruses have caused severe brain swelling, leaving him unable to communicate. There are no medications or vaccines to treat any of the three diseases, according to the CDC.
