'VAR went for a coffee,' jokes Ghana coach as he claims England escaped penalty

Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz claimed England escaped a penalty and red card during their goalless FIFA World Cup 2026 draw. "Once again, the video assistant referee (VAR) went for a coffee. It's natural, I'd also like to take my coffee once in a while," he joked. Queiroz added, "We had our chances to the point that they were lucky."
