'We should be partners than rivals', says Xi after landing in US

Chinese President Xi Jinping has issued his first statement after landing in the US on Thursday. He said China and the United States "should be partners rather than rivals", adding that the interests of the people of two nations are "deeply intertwined". He further said both sides should work to build a stable relationship, "with moderate competition and manageable differences".
