Whitewashing at Sambhal's Shahi Jama Masjid begins after HC's permission

The whitewashing of Sambhal's Shahi Jama Masjid began on Sunday after the Allahabad High Court granted permission on March 12. Earlier, the court directed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to complete the whitewashing work at the Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal within a week. The court also directed the Masjid Management Committee to bear the cost of the whitewashing.
