'You banned Ranveer, why no action on our 2023 plea?', Editor asks FWICE

Editor Shweta Venkat, who worked on 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Haseen Dillruba', criticised the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) for its decision to ban Ranveer Singh. Shweta called action against Ranveer "cute" and questioned why FWICE hasn't responded to a 2023 joint plea from 242 editors yet. She argued, "Where was this efficiency? It has been 3 years."
