1.2 billion internet-connected cameras worldwide could be used for spying in wars: Report

Around 1.2 billion internet-connected cameras worldwide, including home CCTVs, could be turned into spying tools during wars, WSJ reported. Hackers are using compromised cameras to track troop movements and to identify targets. In one case, a hacker group supporting Ukraine used a camera in Russian-controlled Crimea to locate an unknown Russian base, which Ukrainian forces later attacked.
