1.2 lakh Flock cameras across US spark mass surveillance concerns
Flock Safety, a private tech company founded in 2017, provides automated license plate readers (ALPR) and public-safety software to law enforcement agencies across 49 US states. Flock's nationwide network of 1,20,000 cameras has sparked concerns of potential government surveillance. This comes after a police officer abused the network to stalk his ex-girlfriend and refused to leave her residence.
