1.25 lakh paracetamol tablets recalled by FDA due to poor quality
The Maharashtra FDA has ordered the recall of more than 1.25 lakh paracetamol and telmisartan tablets from two Nagpur government hospitals after quality tests failed. Parasev 500 paracetamol tablets showed colour variation, while telmisartan 40 mg failed a dissolution test. The FDA is investigating the affected batches and their supply chain.
