1.5 mn children in Pak faced online sexual abuse in a year: UNICEF

Around 1.5 million children in Pakistan experienced online sexual abuse in a single year, according to a UNICEF report. About 85% of perpetrators targeting children aged 12 to 17 were known to their victims, the report found. Around 71% of victims did not disclose their abuse to anyone, citing fear of stigma and shame, the report said.
