1,500 scooters, meant for meritorious girl students, parked on grounds since 2023 in Raj

Over 1,500 new scooters purchased under Rajasthan government's Kali Bai Bheel Scooty Scheme, launched in 2020 to award meritorious girl students, have remained undistributed since 2023. They have been parked on the grounds of two colleges in Banswara. Rajasthan Minister For Tribal Welfare Babulal Kharadi said the change in government and model code of conduct due to elections delayed distribution.
