1,600-yr-old Nalanda University's new campus inaugurated by PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi today inaugurated the new campus of Nalanda University in Bihar's Rajgir. Originally built almost 1,600 years ago during Gupta Dynasty, the university is among world's first residential universities. The new campus has 40 classrooms and can seat around 1,900 people. The 'Net Zero' green campus has solar plant, water treatment plant and 100 acres of water bodies.
